Meet Nicole Corona
a bilingual comedian, actor, and producer based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally born in Mexico, she immigrated to LA at the age of three and grew up in Lincoln Heights (90031). She first discovered her love for performance at her performing arts high school’s theater academy.
Nicole went on to graduate from UCLA with a degree in Film & Television, where she wrote and directed her first short film. She has over a decade of experience in entertainment, working across theater, film, commercials, and most recently, stand-up comedy. She sharpened her comedy skills through improv training at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) and stand-up classes with Bobbie Oliver at the Tao Comedy Studio.
Nicole performs regularly throughout Los Angeles and is the creator and producer of ¿Cómo Se Dice? Comedy, a monthly bilingual stand-up show now in its 10th month. The show was born out of her passion to create space for Latino comedians to experiment with Spanish-language material in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
